If you're going to throw the original 3.5 players handbook out the window, please write another. God forbid someone new should join ths game thinking they would get a chance to go online to play some real D&D only to find what we have now. Not that what it was becoming was close to D&D anyway.
Put it in-game.
Have only staff write it.
Give it a glossary etc. exactly like all player's handbooks before it.
Us old guys are fond of our player's handbooks and would like to be able to read up on, find, and understand the rules of the game in one single place instead of relying on multiple threads, simplified release notes, and the dubious information given out by various players.
After all you did bother to put in a Monster Manual.
