    Default Aging Heros

    Size: Very Small
    Raids We Do: N/A
    Raids per Week: N/A
    Raid Loot System: N/A
    Leader: Oloron
    Website: N/A
    Recruiting: Yes - limited at first
    Info: I wanted to work with others in creating a guild for mature players with casual playing style. For the short term, I would like to find 2-3 other people with a similar outlook that can help do this. The following are guideldines to help determine a good fit for the guild:

    * Positive outlook
    * Escaped into the stories of Robert E Howard, Roger Zelazny and Fritz Leiber as a kid and later
    * Treat others and ourselves with respect
    * Help others in guild or game because you want to, not because you feel obligated to do so
    * Slow paced and casual - this is not work
    * Have fun

    If you think this might be something you would be interested in joining, please send me a mail in game or respond here if you prefer. I would like to get some conversations going over the next month or two. If you are not interested in joining, but could offer some advice for starting a guild, I will appreciate your time and help.

    At your service,
    Oloron

    What play times are you looking for? That is a key factor in seeing who to join.

    Right now I would say Monday -Friday evenings in Eastern US Time Zone, with Friday evenings being optimal. I envision getting larger group events organized on a Friday evening. However, I think 2 hours in one sitting would be a general guideline. Many of us have spouses, children and parents to take care of and that is the casual aspect of the guild. The nice thing about shorter group times is that it allows for more flexibility. If we have members in the UK we can do a 5pm-7pm run ET for them or a 10pm-midnight ET event for guild members in the west.

    Thank you for mentioning that Blank Zero. I appreciate your help.

    I have been thinking about making Khyber my second home. I spend most of my time on Cannith and would be basically starting from scratch. I can't say exactly how much time I'd be spending on Khyber, it would be sporadic (an hour or two here or there) but if there was a set group time I would probably be able to make it.

    You can contact me here or send me an in game mail to Arctarus, he's fresh off of the vet boat ready to poke something with his little sword.

    Thanks for the reply Rauven. I sent an in-game mail to Arctarus.

    You bring up a good point that I want to discuss. There is no pressure to play or group. Guilds that raid need to have that commitment from people who join. They have a difficult job trying to get a large, balanced group together at the right time - No easy task and I tip my hat to them.

    I want to be with other casual people. I'm thinking we'll have one time a week where we'll try to do a group event based on the interest level of that week. But I don't want people to worry about not joining group events on a regular basis. There are business trips, family vacations and if you have played MMOs long enough, sometimes you just need to take a break.
