Friend List for my whole account

Please allow me to create one Friend List that I can share among all my characters. It is difficult to keep track of which friends I've added to which characters on my account, and sometimes I miss partying with friends that I'd otherwise like to party with.

This could be done in a couple different ways. An elaborate separate friend panel that is accessible and shared among all your characters is one option. However, I would be satisfied with a simple "Share Friend" button next to each friend in my list that adds that particular friend to the Friends List for all my characters.

I figured something like this had to have been previously suggested. But when I searched I couldn't find it, so I'm suggesting it again

You are aware of the export/import buttons on the Friends tab in the Social panel? It allows you to export a copy of the current friends list. Then you simply log into alt, open social and import the previously exported list.

Its bare bones functionality but it works.

I would like it if I could add a name to one List and it added to the entire account.

I would also like to be able to friend an account and it automatically gives me a tag when they log on, no matter what alt they use, Have this require that the "Friended" Account, needs to "accept" for this feature to work.

I would also like to be able to put a note next to someone's name (Like give them a Nick name) that gets applied to their alts when I see them in chat IE: (Party) Player (Nickname) "hey what ya all doing?"

That would so help me sort though my best buddies in game that enjoy making alts, or friends that have alts that have similar names.

These would be really handy!

As for the last suggestion, there is a "comment" field, on the bottom of the window, for every contact. Select the contact, write in his/her name, or what you want about that contact, and click the "Update" button on the right side.

This comment, however, does not apply to chat displays, but is a great help to keep track of all your friends alts'.

I would also like more friends list functionality.

What I would like is for their names to show up differently in chat panes and in the /lfm window. A symbol, a different color, really anything to differentiate them from the mass of puggles.

I am aware of this feature, however this requires that I add their alt to the friends list and then make a note that it is their alt, and then import /export the list.

I was proposing an idea where a Single Account get's a nick name applied to all their toons. so if they say, make a new toon and send you a tell, you know who it is, or if they dust off some old bank toon, retired toon, or what have you. There is minimal guess work.

So the idea of adding in a "Naming conviction" (I believe it is called) to any of your friends accounts, would be handy, without needing to add in each toon to the friends list.

In the sake of fairness, the account you wish to friend would need to accept your request and in doing so, you give them permission to nickname all your toons as well. (Two way street that one)

I think this would add a great dynamic to the game.

The idea about adding an entire account sounds good, would save some hassle.
Also if you are making an account friends list make it per-world and not for the entire account or it will be a bit confusing.

Still, when adding an account it can probably add to all worlds' list.

As before /not signed sometimes I want to keep a character or 2 private plus having whole account makes it easier to stalk someone. Now who,e account ignore I can agree with
