I used to have a str based drow assassin named Porkys. Shortly after artificers came out I turned her into a warforged artificer because I thought it would be fun. It is fun but not nearly as much fun as I had playing an assassin. So I'm planning on making her into a warforged assassin when she reaches 20 again. It turns out I enjoy playing a warforged more than a drow. Something about more hitpoints. A lot more. (I'm toying with the idea of making her into a paly 3 times for the healing amp.) I also decided to do a barb past life before assassin and to pick the barb past life feat instead of toughness during her assassin life. This will allow her to enter a rage and since she'll be a wf she won't get fatigued. I also intend to get the barb set from amrath that increases a toon's number of rages by 1 per rest, with healing amp added to the ring.
That said, I'm trying to decide between shadowdancer and fury of the wild for her past life. They both have advantages and disadvantages. The biggest advantage for fury is the ability to add 6 stat points to either con or strength. With shadow I can boost dex or int which aren't as impressive for a str based assassin.
Both epic destinies look like they would benefit my character, especially since my toon will be able to rage. I'd like some opinions on which way I should go.
