PS: It's BTC on equip. So they are tradeable. I didn't get them, a guildie did, thus the blurd out name so monks dont bother him for em.

Personally dont mind btc on equip at all.

FYI potential monk farmers, this is a random drop item with the new epic suffix Crusader, not a named item.

Now if only those wraps were Cold Iron threaded instead. Then they really would be perfect.

Random generated wraps of various metal types have been dropping in all the epic quests.
The BTCoE is strange, but i've seen comparable wraps in random drops.

PS. you should put a little more care into blurring out names.

They just CANNOT get (ie Incapable of getting) monks working right...

Playing my monk in the new FR content and TRing Mokune into a Druid were the ONLY things I was excited about with the Expansion.

Monks are broken...

Mokune is a Wizard 18 atm ....just trying to get it over and done with...

Due to recent changes in DDO I have lost complete interest in Arcane or Divine Casters....

Mokune is an intended completionist on life 6....started completionist because pre-expac epic were just poorly implemented.

As a fresh level 20 character I would have liked to have some sort of character progression beyond loot grind in content that was more likely to kick my teeth in than bring enjoyment.

This XPAC brought some of that...

Along with breaking my favorite Class/Character to play...

A guildie pulled random lootgen Cold Iron Studded wraps and passed em to me tonight while Faerun Flagging. It was also in Servants I believe, but Heroic Elite, not Epic.

It looks like they fixed the issue with metal-type not appearing in the name of wraps.... but they did it by suppressing the prefix enchantment. Those nice little wraps look like random loot gen seeker wraps of the crusader that also came with silver-threaded. At least we can now search for them on the AH! (But I probably can't afford them).

tbh, considering that boosts to critical multipliers aren't boosting the effects of burst / blast items.

also considering monks poor crit range / multiplier seeker 10 isn't overly great.

and yeah absolute law on silver wraps, not a good combo.

For you, and a lot of already-maxxed gear monks, sure.

But for most, they would be pretty awesome,. The vast majority of dark monks actaully don't have a set of wraps that break silver + good dr out of the box.. They are still hard to get.

Given they can now drop in lootgen like any other weapon, this means it gets taht much easier for a Dark monk to get geared up for Shroud/ToD/Devils Assault/VoD/etc.

Yea the actual enchantments aren't the best, but there ok, certainly a lot better then ones that drop in shadow crypt that many monks use. Also keep in mind these are craftable. so could be +5 holy burst silver of GLoB.

Also, another monk told me there earth stances increased crit multi did indeed increase there burst/blast damage. He even provided screenshot proof.

I can only assume he had something stunned and showed you a screenshot where something had helpless damage, i spent hours testing this when earth stance was changed. I've just spent an hour testing it again now.

You hit Ilos Hrolk for 18 points of good damage. (holy burst 3-18 on a weapon with *2 multiplier) According to my log report (i scrape it) I managed to hit 18 a total of 57 times over the course of my hour. I had nothing in the 19-24 range that I would expect with a *3 multiplier.

I wish it were true, but it's not, earth stance boosts to 19/20 do not effect procs.

I would very much like to see the screenshot.
