With the new changes to the game, both of my favoured souls need to be regeared. I haven't been able to figure out a list that gives me everything I want though, so I'm hoping for some useful feedback.


Human WIS-based Favoured Soul:

Head: Crystal Cove Hat (200 SP)
Necklace: Torc
Goggles: Shroud Goggles (+150 SP, +6 CHA skills)
Cloak: Shroud Cloak (+45 HP, Heavy Fortification)
Gloves: Vile Blasphemy (Old version)
Bracers: Bracers of the Sun Soul
Boots: 30% Striders
Belt: Belt of the Sun Soul
Ring 1: Telvi's Touch slotted with 20% Healing Amp
Ring 2: Epic Ring of the Silver Concord slotted with Resistance +4
Trinket: Litany of the Dead
Quiver: Deneith Wide Quiver
Hand 1: Silver Alchemical Weapon (Mystical Earth, Mystical Fire, Mystical Earth)
Hand 2: Flametouched Iron Alchemical Shield (Mystical Water, Martial Water, Mystical Fire)
Armour: Epic Deneith Heavy Chain slotted with Toughness


Problems:
I have no idea where to slot in Impulse for Blade Barrier. If the Epic Chainmail Coif is nearly equivalent to the spellpower increase from the Alchemical items, I might aim for that and put Impulse on an alchemical instead. I would like to have both Superior Radiance Lore and Superior Kinetic Lore though, but I don't have any idea how to get both in at the same time. I guess having Superior Radiance Lore would be more important?


Warforged STR-based Favoured Soul:


Head: Purple Dragon Helm
Necklace: Torc
Goggles: Tharne's Goggles
Cloak: Shroud Cloak (+150 SP, +6 CHA skills)
Gloves: Purple Dragon Gauntlets
Bracers:
Boots:
Belt: Colethenis's Belt
Ring 1: Epic Ring of the Stalker slotted with GFL
Ring 2: Ring of the Ravager slotted with 20% Healing Amp
Trinket: Holy Symbol of Lolth
Quiver:
Hand 1&2: Various Greatswords
Armour: Ancient Gemstone

Problems:

I have absolutely no idea where I can slot in Devotion right now. I used to just use the Amrath belts (on both characters actually), but the change hurts this one more. Also I need to fit Toughness back in somewhere (perhaps on Epic Boots of Corrosion?). I'm thinking this leaves me with only the Bracers slot for my Shroud HP item. Perhaps the Epic Vulkoorim Pendant or the Epic Adherent's Pendant would end up being the best (I don't know which one is better)? Is there a good trinket for Devotion now that I could swap with the Symbol of Lolth when appropriate?

I scratched my head about similar things on my FvS (how to fit in devotion mainly and radiance).
I wouldn't worry to much about it though.
For your caster FvS, putting devotion on a helmet might be an idea if you have everything to redo your alchemical item.
Don't bother with the old epic items though. Chainmail Coif gives somewhat in the 70s, same for Epic Mask of Comedy. Epic Adherents Pendant is 60 Devotion.

Yesterday I pulled a random lootgen helmet in an explorer area giving 102 to devotion, wizardry and a small guild slot. Might wanna aim for those instead.

And since there's not to much info on new loot, who knows what other goodies out there are anyways that outperform the old stuff.

I would take a wait and see approach to gearing at this point. as it was said, the newer loot gen items seem a lot more powerful than even the epic raid gear thats available in game.

Right now for my fvs, I havent even bothered to do much gearing yet. still trying to see whats out there that might fit into what i want in terms of performance from my toon.

Try:

Green Dragonscale Docent: Toughness, Superior Acid resistance, Acid Absorption -20%, Resistance +6, Proof Against Poison +10, Power Store (As Abbot Staff).

Yeah, I expect it'll be several months before I get all this together. I'm not able to play everyday anymore, unfortunately.

The armour listed is the Ancient Gemstone so I can get the 3-piece Purple Dragon Knight set bonus. That docent looks pretty cool though, but not for this character.
