    Default Whirling steel strike for Half-elf.. =)

    Just a suggestion.. why not make the "Whirling Steel Strike" requirement also available to half-elf Dilenttante: Monk instead of only Monk level 1. Since for item use purposes the character who take a "Half-elf Dilenttante: Monk" count as a level 1 monk in addition to any other classes one might possess.

    .. =)

    Well, first of all, you are mistaken on the helf monk dillie feat, it reads: Proficiency with the quarterstaff, kama, and shuriken, and can add up to 2 points of your Wisdom bonus to your Armor Class as long as you are Defensively Centered (unarmored and unencumbered, does not stack with the similar monk class ability). So, that does not mean you are treated as a level 1 monk for item use purposes. It is similar, but if they ever release a monk only item, the dillie feat will not allow you to use it.

    Second, whirling steel strike reads: You treat longswords as if they were monk weapons, remaining centered when you wield them. This feat has absolutely no effect on anyone who is not a monk. All it allows you to do is have a ki bar and use ki strikes while using long swords.
