Soo.. I can use scimitars.
I can not cast Shillagh on them.
Or can I? If its made of f.ex. Ironwood?
And what about 2h weapons. Only staves available?

Greatclubs are made of wood too I believe.
So - to recap my question:
Is it the material as stated in the material description of the item (Hardness and hitpoints etc.) or is it a 'per type' setting (all staffs and clubs are wood...)?

No-one knows?
Not all staves are wood. It works on wood melee weapons. There are no wood weapons in game I know of that are not normally wood, i.e., club, staff, greatclub. If you found a wooden scimitar it should work, but it doesn't exist. The Mad Lute is a great club, but steel. You have to check each weapon.
Should be wood and glass imo.
Poor Muckbane.....
Then again if your in wolf form no matter what wep you are using, the wep will not take damage itself correct?
So. I am using the flameblade spell as a weapon while transformed into a bear.
I do get the added flamedamage, but - is wisdom still my tohit and todamage stat?
When I increase my wisdom (through owls) my tohit increases. But since the showing of the bear stat all in all is messed up - is this right?
Should I go with bulls instead?
