I've gone through one level of an Epic Destiny so far, and there's a suggestion I would like to make.
Currently you fill the Epic Destiny bar four times (getting four points that you can spend) then you fill it a fifth time to gain your Epic Destiny level. This mimics AP/levels in heroic, but it feels very disjointed. I'd like to get a point to spend every time that I fill that bar. Also, the statement of 'you get these abilities for filling in the tree' for the bottom row is inaccurate. You don't get those until you've earned them through XP gain (just like any of the other abilities).
There are two possible suggestions I would make:
1. Give us a point to spend when we fill the bar the fifth time (and get the level). There's plenty of options to spend it on, I don't think anyone will feel bad about an extra point. The trees will have to be reworked to make it 5 points/tier spent instead of the current 4/tier spent.
2. Make it so that once you have spent 4 points into the tree you are auto-granted the level. Meaning I don't have to grind out XP for that fifth 'dot'.
Basically, I just want to know that every time I fill up a bar, I get a point to spend. It's a simple one-to-one relationship.
Side note: This worked better on heroic levels, as you either got AP to spend or you got a level (so you were putting points into something either way). On EDs it just doesn't feel the same.
And one more side request. Please don't make us go back to a Fatespinner to activate auto-grants. If we top over and you aren't giving us an option, just apply the new abilities and save us the trip back. (Maybe I'm wrong on this, but I remember having to go back to get my 1st level in the ED. I won't be able to verify until I've reached a 2nd level).
