EDIT: Sorry for the outburst. I basically misunderstood how the destinies worked due to poor wording via the devs.

You do realize you don't have to use the abilities in the destinies in order to level them, right? While it's counter-intuitive and grindy, at the least the EDs you're passing through that you don't care about are at least a little caster-friendly.

That's not to say I don't agree about divine (and primal) having direct links into arcane. Hopefully at some point down the line they'll add EDs more closely tied to cleric and druid (and artificer), and alter the map to make them fit and link in to arcane.

Yeah a friend explained it to me in-game. It basically came down to a misunderstanding on how they actually worked due to poor wording and lack of in-depth explanation on the dev's part.

It was about the whole DDO store having keys of destiny at such a ridiculous price. I thought that changing destinies was A LOT more complicated that it actually was -- like to the point of having to play a particular type of class in order to unlock a particular destiny. I'm better now! (^_^)/)
