    Default Expedited Durability Loss?

Just wondering as I've not played DDO for as much time as many here but did start back on release and through the years in and out..

I was on my L4 Drow Wizard post-expansion running Waterworks' quests to find that my gear, most notably the 3-4 staves on me as well my robe, armor, etc was taking massive hits in durability.

I'm not talking normal wear and tear but 3 out of the 4 staves I had were completely 0/XX durability and my robe was nearly gone as well. This has never happened at this magnitude and I opened a ticket but I'm just wondering since I've been playing VIP the last 4-5 months now this has never happened and to this amount this quickly.

Yes, all items were repaired and yes this happened 2 times in a row (died due to not having any gear) so rez'ed, repaired fully and went back in; same outcome

    Was me or something else?

*Sorry, I'm not complaining or griping if this is the case but in all my time I've never experienced this much durabilty loss, in a single dungeon session (1 quest, 1 dungeon in waterworks) ever in all my time in DDO

Was it oozes? If you're beating on oozes with weapons that aren't glass or crystal, then the oozes will tear through the weapons ridiculously fast.

My name is Cinder and I am a sorcerer. I casts the spells that make things fall down!

I had initially yes and even in the past I guess RND was kind to me as I never lost more than 4-5 points ever on a run of a dungeon with oozes. I am not joking when the first run I hit 1 ooze, 2 times melee and it dropped my durability 40 points

Later simple melee with Kobolds/etc was causing it as well.. This was in waterworks as to gauge the level and type of mobs.

I was told in game to support a full bug/issue ticket which I will be doing once I'm able to go back and continue a test.

    Thanks,

I noticed that my equipment was taking damage at an extremely exaggerated rate as well. Armor that I would need to repair maybe once every 10 quests is now going broken every other quest.
Kobold sentient jewel still hate you.

Supposedly the new MotU expansion changed a bunch of hardness and equipment hp values, with the idea that new top-end random loot would be extra durable. It sounds like it messed up something with the rest of the loot too. Bugs bugs bugs.

That could be and good thinking..

I know people on Khyber were ignoring me and stating the obvious like "you forgot to repair"/etc but I'm not crazy (at least on what I have been experiencing, lol) and it's quite frustrating to have near totally destroyed gear at the end of a long quest.

I'm repairing more than 1/2 of my durability, on multiple items, after each quest and subsequently experiencing perm durability loss at an exaggerated rate as well due to all the repairing

I think my stuff is getting beat up more than usual too.

I just thought it was getting hit for 150-250 per shot that was doing it tho.

Maybe it's wai, maybe not. But I'm with you on the more damage to gear. Wearing Elf-crafted robes on my Wiz(all i can get atm).....and since the update, barely 1/2 through a quest, and I start getting the pop ups about durablity and damage.
Granted it may be they changed the hardness, its 8 now(don't remember before, never had an issue) Although I have other items with less than 8, but yet they don't seem to take as much damage, so count me as

I had a character's Holy greatclub go down to 'worn' status in Thrall of the Necromancer yesterday - first time I have seen any equipment get this in many a month.
