missing airship guild chest

ok i'm willing to shell out the plat to put back all the aminities on my airship what i need to know is are all the items in that i had stored in each guild chest lost for good or will they be there if i repurchase the aminites

Good question. All ship buffs in several (if not all) guild ships were wiped with the update.

This is a perfect example of Turbines complete and total stupidity... They don't run the updates on a server that exactly matches the live servers, with a bit of testing, prior to pushin git to the live servers.

The way it worked in the past, anything in each chest would return when the chest was purchased again. In theory, that should still be true this time...

If a chest simply expired the items were there when it was repurchased. Now, this may be different than a simple expiration. Don't know for sure until it's tried.

Our guild experienced the amenities wipe. I put back the chest and everything was in it that was there before. At least that appears to be working as it once did.

No it wasn't a simple expiration.. If that ws the case the amenities would've shown in ghost form. This was like you walked onto a brand new ship...

ya same my guild ship lost off too. i had just set it up after hitting lv 50. the large guild chests was the hard one on the pocket book. just wish they would have tested beter. BUT is minor. as long as people have the plat. speaking of plat its a shame we cant store plat in the guild chest

This has been added to our Known Issues list:

Airship amenities applied prior to June 25th expired upon the release of Menace of the Underdark. Guilds may use coupon SHIP75 for a 75% discount off amenities in the DDO Store. Coupon is good through Sunday July 1st, limit 10 per account.

For folks who purchased amenities with Turbine Points, please contact support for further assistance.
