Can't connect

This is something that has been going on since before the expansion, so it is some other underlying issue... since the expansion is out now though, I kind of what to try and fast track this and get it fixed ASAP.

Basically my client is unable to connect. It goes through the preliminary things, opens the launcher and I get to the window with Connect/Examine Programs/Update Programs etc.. but it will not go past the connect step. It gives no error besides saying a connection attempt failed.

It's very odd as I was playing with more or less the exact same set up. I moved apartments, got internet hooked up (which works fine) but I cannot connect to the game anymore.
I have a laptop which I could connect to by wireless by borrowing a signal from a neighbour. However, once I tried to wire my connection in, I got the same issue as I do with my desktop in that it just doesn't connect.

Tried to use a router(used to have it wired straight from my modem) but nothing is working.

I have an open ticket with tech support but figured I'd post here again just to see if I can get anything else to try as I'd like to log into the game sometime... my wireless signal has gone to hell and renders it more or less unplayable now.

It is not your system \ equipment.
The exact same issue is happening to me and has been a lot recently.
It was happening at random but now is occurring on all 3 of of the computers in my home (mine, wife's, and daughter's) and the game will not load....
Patch \ expansion day issues I suppose.
What gives Turbine?

It likely has nothing to do with the expansion as this has been happening for a while now, probably two months.
