Edit: if it were up to me, the ONLY benefits to guild levels would be bragging rights and cosmetic trinkets. No ship buffs or guild augments of any kind.

Anyone want to offer suggestions on what I should wish for next?

Has anyone tested to see if the chest are full after they had to repurchase them ??

Our chest has expired a few times, after repurchase everything is still there.

Our ship was empty too. Had to rebuy everything - and that cost a shed load of money. 150k pp so far and rising

Even more annoying was the trashed tool bars on every account. Simply no need for sloppiness like that.

They should be, yes !!! -- however, I've seen that at least one person has posted that all amenities were there when he boarded ship, so it's *still* possible this is just lag causing the amenities not to be there.

No, not really possible for lag to be causing this issue. Someone forgot to carry over the ship amenities in the update coding so they were blanked.

Basically the GM's have said that the update wiped everything out and tough nuggets you need to pay for all new shrines and altars. More than likely someone in that guild repurchased the altars prior to the other person boarding.

So I tested the chest and RE-purchased our small chest that didnt have much in it and all the items were still there . Will now buy the Large one and hope for the best. Silly guildie put his large bag of Shroud ing. in it

That explanation doesn't make much sense if people can purchase new amenities (that are actually visible) to replace the old ones that vanished.

Before when my ship buffs were 'invisible' due to lag or graphics malfunction, I was not able to purchase replacement amenities because the game acted as though the existing ones were still there even though I could not see them.

I think a 1TP sale on all gold seal ship amenities in the DDO store would go a long way to smooth the rufflled feathers caused by this.

After hearing about the number of submitted tickets and the 'your screwed' (but said politely) answers in-game. I said screw it and spent the 100k plat again to restock our ship. Wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't just spent all that money last week to restock it beforehand. Should have known better and left it expired until the update was done.

Edit: Correction, after adding it up and ignoring the gold, the ship was restocked for a 100k.

Items in chests were always saved if the chest expired so wasn't worried about that. Not overly fussed about the platinum cost of renewing them all. It'll take me below 3.6mil but I'll get over that. I am more concerned about the loss of TP from the gold seal.

But again if that'll be recovered by account support albeit when they get round to it then I can deal with that too.

But before I go and splash out to renew our guild ship buffs, would be really useful if we could get official word on what to do here. Not that I don't take everything that ingame support say as gospel, but I have zero faith in them so would rather hear it from someone official on here. Even if it's to say "Yeah they're right, there's nothing we can do, sorry about that - cough up the plat and move on, renew the goldseal and claim the money back from account support who can confirm you purchased them in the first place".

I and another guildmate are both seeing the same blank ship. Jumped on my officer and asked to see the hookpoints, no issue there, was able to reload a crew mate and he seems to be sticking around.

not confirmed by Turbine but after redoing my stormglory typhoon at a cost 250kp i found that the extra crew point was gone. went to a few outher guilds that had typhoons/gryphons/tempests and they were missing the extra crew hookpoint also

May be unrelated, but the update (or Lolth) ate my snow pather companion (the one you get for sharing stones of experience). Gone... and not repurchasable by ingame money.
