This is a blatant plug but I think it is okay because it is for a good reason.

About four years ago I started looking for a dog. I was going off to college back then, off to get a Masters degree, and I was going to be in a place where I knew no one at all and would be far from home. So...a dog sounded like the way to go.

I would be too busy for a puppy, so demanding to teach and train. I knew I wanted to give a grown dog a chance, anyway. I love German Shepherd dogs, I always have. I love all dogs, really. So in my search both around where I live and online I discovered Echo Dogs White Shepherd Rescue.

Within a few weeks I brought Boo home. He and I are now co-dependant. He's my velcro dog. He even waits for me to do my business in the bathroom. Sorry, TMI But he does.

Working with them and bringing Boo home is the best choice I could've made. I couldn't ask for a better dog.
