Default How Viable would this be?

I have a rough plan for a bit of a flavour build with druid. But I'm not sure if its going to be viable enough to be worth my time...

Basic plan is strightforwards, half ork caster/meele hybrid using quarterstaves, backed by Shileligh spell, a few buffs, to get greatsword damages out of a simple stave, many of which from my sujorns to lamnia will boost spell power, and backed with halfork enhanments. Won't be using animal shapes much, but likewise wont face casting penalties from them.
Currently levelling: Lainnu, WF Arteficter 18, Khyber, Leader of House Tarkanan
Jhankgix, WF lvl 21 monk, Grand Master of Flowers,Khyber, House Tarkanan
    Recovering Altaholic.

Will you be maxing wisdom? If so it is, but your to hit may be lacking without divine clicks, otherwise you'd be best building it like a wf favored soul, taking quicken, empower healing and max youll be an ok healer (not sure about raids) and some melee dps. Spells with no saves that come to mind is ice storm, creeping cold and (firewall after first tick) produce flame. So its doable, but your best specing for healing on a str build with no animal forms imo.

Unless you mean cooldown timers, animal forms dont give casting penalties anymore.

    it should be ok.

i have a plan for something of the sorts, going 17 druid/3 monk

going 18 str, 16 con, 14 wis. I see no point in maxing wis if you will not be taking spells which require a save (which you won't be able to land unless you take focuses, or have sorc PLs)

I have an enhancement list planned somewhere, i'll get round to posting it after we see get a character planner for them
