If you have to drop Toughness on a 18/2 you lose 24HP losing d12 and Mighty Range, 60-80 lost from Toughness and Toughness enhancements, 100 lost from being locked out of eToughness.

With the insult ability (-20% fort for 20 secs) from fury of the wild ED, does a barbarian even need to take improved sunder anymore? Seems like that is more than doing your share in reducing fortification. A lot of rogues, monks and fighters have improved sunder now. I think that would be the first to go, but that still doesn't help pure barbs, more cuts would be needed. I guess I would cut GTHF next. Malicious and wild weapons from fury of the wild add 18% to glancing blows when maxed out. For a human....

    Toughness
    THF
    ITHF
    Imp Crit Slashing
    Power Attack
    Cleave
    Stunning Blow
    Weapon focus
    Great Cleave
    Overwhelming Critical

I guess the cleave, great cleave and supreme cleave have nice synergy with the momentum swing and lay waste legendary dreadnaught ED too if you go that route.

Well, Insult isn't all upside...it also buffs the enemy, locks you into using Fury if you want that ability, and would stack with Improved Sunder.

Yes, many monks have IS, but they're looking at whether they can afford to drop the feat also, and your IS is going to be more effective than a monk's or rogue's with your much higher Str, which means you'll be likely to have IS up for more of the time (if you have to break off attacking a boss for too long and IS drops off completely, you're more likely to get it to land on your first or second attack, for instance).

And bringing -40% Fort to the table on your own is pretty significant. Unnecessary, maybe. Overkill in some situations, yes, but definitely a boon.
