Default PSA: Acquire an Invis Clickie

Useful from level 1 to 20.

ML1 3-clickie/3min BTA Invis Clickie from Bookbinder's Rescue
ML18 3-clickie/15min BTC Nyoko's Necklace easy to get in ToD

Tons of random clickies and invis pots and low UMD invis scrolls EVERYWHERE. The scrolls are sold right in the MP. The pots routinely drop in chests and breakables. Wands and Clickies are not at all rare. Many are also listed on the AH at all times.

Get some and use them. A lot. Especially if you are specifically asked to "go invis" in Stealthy Repo, Tempest Spine, Epic Claw, and the 1000 other quests and raids you'll need them for.

If you don't have one, for Jupiter's sake DON'T be silent and start running without invis!!! Red Alert and you've just screwed the whole party. (Esp if you are a FVS with aura of menace.) ASK FOR AN INVIS if you don't have your own invis solution.

Get an invis solution. There's really, really no excuse not to have one.

Also, invis pots drop from a lot of barrels in higher end quests - another good reason to break boxes. I think I managed to collect about 100 pots at one point on my tr train. Only to eat most of them, the one life I ran with OR

I have collected quite a nice collection of invis clickies - the only problem is that they are usually on the wrong toon

Any family that runs through spinning, flaming, webbing, impaling spike traps to barefist punch armed thugs and arcanes deserves to die, horrible, horrible deaths. The Binders must be cousins of Coyle Lovell.

There may be other places to acquire ML1 3-clickie/3min BTA Invis Clickies, but none come to mind atm.

    Happy hunting.

Aww c'mon. The family that slays together stays together. Besides it's likely just a cathartic release of stress from having to live with Grammah.

I've gotten good invis clickies from Red Fens turn ins as well. Even for unbound ones its generally just ml 7 for a 5 click item. Hit the AH people.

A lot of groups invis and run through the wilderness area past all the fire eles and reavers to the mountain entrance. Invising in this part prevents you from getting Dungeon Alert.

Invising is mainly to save time and keep dungeon alerts down. A lot of other quests can be invised through:

Chronoscope people invis through market to bank.

Xorian Cipher pre quest, people Invis straight to the alter kill the scorps and enter Cipher.

Epic Von 1. Invis at various points, grab keys while invised, quest can be invised till when you get to locked door and have to fight trolls.

Into the Deeps invis in underwater areas to skip battles.

Fathom the Depths invis all the way to lever you pull to flood the area.

Diplomatic Impunity can be invised for the whole quest, only have to fight the end boss.

Most of Tangleroot can be invised through.

All wildernesses can be invised through so you can go straight to the quest without fighting.

Invisibility is a very valuable tool. Many players don't seem to know how useful it is for avoiding combat or zerging a quest. Pretty much any quest where the mobs do not have tremor sense, blind sense, or true seeing invisibility can save you valuable time. Nost of the speed runs posted on the forums have included people invising through a part of the run. Turbine even gives a devious bonus to XP for making it through a quest undetected and killing the least possible amount of mobs.

Also Divines can still heal while invised without loosing invisibility. This is a very valuable tool. Invis a dedicated healer and they are less likely to be targeted by a mob.

Note that unless something changed recently, if you're a Cleric and hit your RS Burst or Aura you lose invis. You CAN invis after hitting your aura, though.

I have started doing this a lot and the arcanes were laughing at me. But less resources healing myself, better attention to party and tank. I even do it on my arti in elob, and **** it really helped. I don't do it if it's an easy raid and great party where I can afford to blow sp on DP and such, but in pugs sp management is often crucial. I wish more divines would do this when they're mostly healing.

Nice suggestions on all the quests to use them in. I will say when I tried this in coal chamber, we ended up getting red alerted and it sucked from there. we all stayed invis (no one fought), but some people's sneak stunk and the mobs became aware of us.

Any tips for how to avoid those situations?

I think the troglodyte shamans, scorpions, and the bats can detect you even while invised. Scorpions and spiders have a tremor sense, I think bats have a blindsense, and the trog shamans have or cast true seeing. In this quest I've always found it best to invis past trolls and gnolls in the few areas between the climbing parts, while killing any bats and scorpions.

The quest does not lend itself well to invising through though because of all the scorps and bats.
