First fo all, THANK YOU SO MUCH for derailing this thread into a troll fest. That is waht makes perusing these forums so interesting in the first place. So +1 for you. Let me see if i can add some fuel to the flames.
second of all- most of the old timers and ppl you think are elitists had to learn how to play the game ourselves. so do you. If you can't learn it, its not because someone doesn't want to teach you, its because either A) you suck or B) you are some spoiled a$$ rich kid who gets everythign they want by whining rather than working to acheive some goal for yourself.
Either way, that's probably why you don't get in too many groups, or invited to whatever channel you are so concerned about.
TROLL ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Iceemachine - For inspiring me to play at a level I didn't think I could achieve, for being a great friend, and for lightening the mood when it's needed.
Durli - For being such a great team player, asking for nothing, and giving everything.
Genmi - Even though he's a relatively new player, he's smart, adaptable, tough, and always has your back.
Thundersmite - For being a team player, an occasionally exceptionally verbose companion, and someone you can count on to help anyone at anytime while not taking smack from anyone.
Skweeshy - For being eager to learn, taking the time to be a better player, and for being good natured when he gets dragged into things WAAAY over his (character's) head. Also for overcoming his language barriers and inherent shyness.
Soularr - For making me laugh so many times that I have lost count. You're a unique individual, and you've forgotten more about this game than some folks may ever know. Thanks for sharing and taking a chance on a newb. Consider your good will paid forward, and I shall continue to do so.
Also a very honorable mention to all the Solid guildies for being such great people to hang out with, and for your collective knowledge that you're always willing to share, as well as being a team that ALWAYS brings the pain to the bad guys. You guys are... Solid. And I mean that in every good sense of the word
EDIT: Whoops, just noticed this was in the wrong world. Darn you "newest posts" button and failed reading comprehension!!

It may be so that some of the people mentioned do run together, but usually that is guild related and allied guild related. I rarely get to run with many of the people listed and I know that when I was new (and I have only been playing for little over a year) many of the above listed have always been willing to help offer information, ideas, and help me find pieces I need. Irefuse, Lucadark, Youngblood, DJ, Yummi and a number of others have looked through full inventories if I need something.
Many of the people too will run with new players, and often show a great deal of patience for new players; as long as the players are willing to listen and learn, there is a huge difference between whether or not the new player wants to learn or not and that often determines the interaction between veteran and newer players, at least in my experience. I have never had a bad result when I PM a party leader and tell them I am new to a quest or raid and they are always fine with it, and glad that I alerted them up front that I want to join and learn.
Combat arms is an even more buggy game(especially the fact you can walk in walls every other 5 feet)
Flasksval
Drywet
Dalsheel
Blehz
Denxien, yeah I know, but he is still a really good player.
I agree with this. As long as you have the correct attitude, almost every elite or veteran player is willing to teach you what you want to know. I have done this as players I have mentored can attest to, and those players in turn are now taking the same role and doing even better than me.
Re: alexthegood - 1. you did take the eardweller - it was a group of friends and you were the pug, 2. you did not say sorry so there was nothing for me to believe there, 3. i never posted any screens so there's nothing to photoshop.
Good riddance - have fun with CA.

Arthurrr from Breaking Bad (excellent end game player- always glad to join him for Abbot/Challenges/Raids ect. Doesn't mind playing a healer either- which is awesome- but I'd play with him even if he didn't)
Angelzgrace from Elite by Nature (Always glad to get in on one of her raids- good player that is great at pulling together people quickly and doing raids/epics efficiently and in a socially fun way.)

Janemba of One Foot in the Grave (While not "uber" Jan is on here for a very simple reason. He helped teach me the game. And not just me; I've seen him time and time again take new folks under his wing and run them through alot of stuff. Very Competent player that goes out of his way to help the new guys. )

hoi, I feel like an old man... with old-timers: I don't even recognize 90% of the names here.
but here's my list...
Ganak, Souless, Cully, me, Kanny and Pallai. I'd say all but 1 of the people listed here in my list is well deserving of my praise.
P.S. it's the person not named.
I am, Rameses!
Argonnessen's only Halfling Paragon.
