Nerf the Squelch List

squelching is unfair because it discriminates against new players seriously i cant even get a group anymore because it seems like the entire server has me squelched! turbine should really make the ignore list a max of 5 to stop harassment, but allow new players like me to stop getting squelched!

also nerf the harbor elite, i cant do the bravery bonus at level. why does turbine hate new players so much??

Every person playing this game was a brand new player at one point.

Only a very small minority of players are squelched by as many people as you claim to be.

Every person squelched by a large populace is probably squelched for good reason.

Being squelched on Khyber makes you EXTRA special.

The game is, until later levels, so mind numbingly easy I actually have my dachsund/ yorkie mix level me up to 6 even on my multi TRs. He's awesome at it, and no one is the wiser, which is even funnier because we both use voice chat.

I don't know Rast so wasn't sure if he was joking or not. If you look at general chat in Harbor/ Marketplace, what he put is almost verbatim what you will find, albeit with poorer spelling skills, any day of the week. I saw after I put it there that it was a joke, a joke that flew right over me because I don't know who Rast is. Wow, you guys totally got me, I am so pwned.

OP - I can admit when I am the odd man out, well played, but sadly with the way this game is going a lot of people carry your post in it's entirety as their mantra.

vault with the ignore list that new players can't penetrate! And im not being squelched because im bad, it
is because the vets don't like helping new players out! i am no random noob, i have a level 14 drow ranger and im in
Epic! Epic is Shade's channel for special elite players.

Also, the step in difficulty from Korthos to harbor is ridiculous. I was crushing Korthos on my level 4, but as soon as I
visit the harbor, I start getting owned. I can't believe that that they would purposefully design
it like that

Well, you do know that you're not meant to be doing harbor on elite first time on new toons without a good group as a new player. Yes, they are meant to be difficult. That's the point of them being elite. The elite streak is mainly there to help vet multi tr toons fly though levels, you don't need an elite streak to lvl a non-tr, and frankly you shouldn't bother.

If this is a serious post, then i guess you are getting squelched for joining quests that are much to hard for you and dieing miserably. I never run harbor elites on a non-tr toon unless it is a good group, or a very good player, in which case i am essentially piking anyway.

Also, allow those poor newbies to get into any raid run, without needing party leader's acceptation, without possibility to get booted, and with option to loot anyone's items.
