How sold are you on 6 ranger? 6 fighter is a stronger splash.

I somewhat agree with the 6 fighter thing, im just curious what your looking for exactly out of this build?

Do you want a 12/6/2 just to have it or are you looking for specific abilties granted by each class at the benchmark?

We need to know alot more to give a real answer, what Pally PRE you wanting? HoTD, KoTC, Defender type?

Im assuming your looking at a pajama TWF, but again im not sure your plan. With all the **changes coming to the way armor works id really plan ahead any melee you build.

** Disclaimer: "Changes" to armor i beleave is still completely beta but it sould be noted it appears the system will be at least slightly modified.

I have one of these guys at level 14 currently (has been parked there for a while... Been leveling a bunch of other toons) and I very much enjoy it. DPS isn't amazing, I'll admit, but survivability is insane from the saves, evasion, and self-healing. The build I'm using is a Drow with rapiers and you'll find it in my sig as the Archangel. However, I'm gonna write a new one up for you because that build is slightly dated from the changes I've made .

I'm going to assume you have 32-point builds. Don't try this as a 28-point. If you have Drow but no 32-pt, go Drow and rapiers.

Some advice for playing this guy:

Spam Divine Sacrifice. It is your best friend. I use my Exalted Smites mainly for bossses just because they're limited. Get Maximize, turn it on. Never turn it off. Your healing will be even better. Learn to use your Human Versatilities and Divine Mights. You can take a few hits, but you're not built to be main tank. If you want more tankability, go Defender of Siberys (which is what I did mainly for extra HP).

LvL 6 rangers grants 2 spells, and ITWF so in this case ranger would be better not fighter

2 more paladin levels gains you zeal.

word on streets is zeal is purdy nice.

Im a fan of the stunning fist utilizing 15 paladin (cure serious is nice) HOTD (level drain immunity, ghost touch, 20% heal amp, some DPS to undead), 3 monk (fists of light/light buffs are nice), 2 fighter (2 feats + **haste boost** +1 str). I think it would perform overall much better than the 12/6/2 using khopeshes (IMO a stunned mob + higher attack speed > fighting back mob + khopeshes). 10% higher base attack speed + 10% zeal + 15 % haste boost over the 12/6/2 orig build which only gains 10% offhand attack with tempest 1. Except when you need to range something...then the 6 ranger levels really pull out ahead
