Get your alchemicals for the xpack.. They are some of the best caster sticks in the game, especially in xpack (+90% to two elements, superior lore, etc)

excuse my ignorance but when you say they are the best caster sticks in the game, especially in expack, do you mean that changes to game mechanics will make them even better? i.e. already crafted sticks will be even stronger due to mods having new properties, or do you mean that changes to alchemical crafting possibilities will mean you can craft even better sticks AFTER expack launches (i.e. they added new stats you can craft on alchemicals)? otherwise, currently agree that alchemicals are the top (albeit priciest) option for sorcs, wizards, healing/casting-based fvs/clr, monks, and TWF (at least one hand)

Best now, and will remain best offhand in xpack.

Ideal setup imo:

Mystical Offhand:
off element + untyped (adamantine)
+ whatever t3 u want

Mainhand:
New loot gen +spell power for main element (goes up to around +114 at lvl24/25)
Possible to get one with a superior lore too, but not other bonuses alch can provide.

Corse if your main elem is your alch, and your off element is force/untype/physical, then you can put pretty much whatever u wants in mainhand as it covers both, maybe even a 2nd alchmical for different t3.

It's superior in xpack in a way in that you can no longer rely purely on clickies. Since it has two +90 elements, a lore, a click and more.. It's an awesome item to consolidate slots, plus give you something strong to start with while lvl up and u search that perfect lootgen if u want max dps on ur main element.
