Wooden Tower shields in random loot

I know that there aren't any random medium armors in nonmetal materials anymore (hopefully this will be addressed), but I also got thinking about Tower Shields, on live there are wooden tower shields in random loot, I'm not certain on the materials of the new types of tower shields, but there really should be something druids can use if they wish. (I know they don't get proficiency, but they can scroll cast master's touch with UMD, or take the feat, etc)

Well I plan on making my druid/fighter tank anyways, getting dragonscale heavy armor, and a heavy wooden shield/Madstone Shield (maybe alchemical tower shield if it will let me use it after upgraded). Or possibly some future nonmetal named tower shield. Using large shields I should be able to get to at least 96 PRR with destiny stuff.

Right, but Madstone shield is pretty wimpy if you have tower shield proficiency and compare to high end loot gen tower shields. Actually, I'm fairly certain that the large loot gen shields out class it even with lower PRR due to higher AC bonuses and abilities on the shield.

If non-metal shields don't drop after the expansion you have to use a wooden shield from the present system.

The problem is that current tower shields have 4 AC bonus, and heavy wooden shields have 2 AC bonus. Obviously you might want to craft +5 on it and some other stuff.

After the expansion a toon that uses steel shields will be able to pick up random drop shields (say they are level 14 - lvl20 is even better), that will have AC bonus 8 for tower shields and 4 for heavy shields and will allow +6 enhancement.

So using wooden shields at lvl 14 a druid can craft a tower shield that will increase your AC by 9, and a heavy shield that will increase your AC by 7.

Using random drop metal shields when the expansion goes live, a non-druid could have a tower shield that adds 14 to AC, or a heavy shield that adds 10.
