    Default Hard to Kill in today's patch notes

    Epic monsters on hard and elite are now resistant against death if their CR is above 20. This ward is called “hard to kill” and acts as a death ward until the targets hps drops below 50% which removes the ward. The ward doesn’t restore after the monster heals.


    From the June 15th release notes. Wasn't this concept supposed to have been killed with the Wail nerf? Is this just a typo, or are we getting this in addition to the nerf?

    Probably an editing error.

    My favorite so far is this one:
    NEW - Random falling damage and objects/players warping inside walls and ceilings should be less frequent now.
    I guess 'less frequent' is better than nothing.

    Got it & nuked it. Turns out that the hard to kill note was ... hard to kill.

    They tried to remove it but it turned out that it wasn't quite half dead yet. We need to DPS it with another 10 pages of doom and drama before they can zap it out of existance.

    Nah, just poped in for a sec to check. New wail. And before anyone asks: No, it doesn't skip undead. (Edit: I'd swear they downed the AOE range too, but that'll have to be confirmed or refuted by someone with more time than I do today, unfortunately.)

    This is incredibly lame, they change the mechanic of the spell and leave the bugs intact with the new version. Everyone needs to bug report this, multiple times until it gets fixed.

    Grrr stupid half arsed change. I understand the reason for changing it - but implementing a BUGGED version is not a suitable answer!
