So I'm reading the odd reply here and there that seems to indicate that casters are going to be nerfed in the expansion, and others saying that the usefulness of the Warforged race will also be diminished by coming changes.

I've been looking for information on this and can't seem to find any, can anyone tell me what the changes are going to be?

Read the release notes on the Lamania Forums. There are also discussions there about the changes to Casters and Immunities.

Short notes:

Spell effect/damage enhnacement is changing to a +% system (metamagic feats being additive rather then multiplicative).

Immunities vs Poison and Disease (including racial immunities whiich heavily hit WF) are being divided into a three tier system; normal, magical, and supernatural. Immunities will still make you immune to normal, but will only grant save bonuses (and no auto-fail on a one) vs. other types. There are some exceptions/exclusions but for the most part this is it.

Also non-metaed spell damage is going to increase (and casters will now have a reason to use +5 weapons).
