Heh, I just TRed my wizard last night too...

My ship buffs went down 10 minutes in the time it took me to inscribe just the 1st and 2nd level spells..

By the way, what happens if you don't have any spells to take when you level up?

I'm paranoid enough that I don't scribe ALL the spells, usually leave 4 so I have something to take when I level.

I had this happen. You do get to hit next without having to select a spell since there are none available.

Considering the cascading nature of bugs that result from supposedly simple changes, I'm going to have to disagree. It really doesn't take that long to inscribe all the scrolls from the vendor.

Can't say about Lammaland, but in Live it shows you an empty list and you just click "Next".

i don't scribe all the spells until i outlevel getting spells from that level
i.e, i don't scribe all the level 1 spells until i hit lvl 3, don't scribe all level 2s until i hit 5... etc etc, (mainly because we pretty much always take the spells from highest spell possible when we level up anyways, right? )

The selection box for that part of the leveling cycle is just empty and you can skip right past it.

I generally inscribe like 1-4 in one shot those levels go by so fast.

I scribe scrolls beforehand, in case there are some spells that you can't buy in scroll form... So if I scribe most everything first, then when it's time to choose spells, I can pick the ones that don't come on scrolls.

You can scribe level 9 spells at level 1 if you really want to. I do this because I'm a packrat.
