The slashing version wasnt working at all on my 18/2 fvs/fighter this last week in beta when i was testing it as fury of the wild (didnt work on gs great swords, esos, antique great axe, or any weapon I picked up as a matter of fact, and yes i bug reported it)
Just replying as a heads up for the op thats all.

I can't test it, nor can any other bbn because the prereqs are overly harsh, making it an impossible choice for barbarians, or at least a very poor one. I've asked them to relax the prereqs, and most reasonable people agreed, many of my fans who had no opinion on the subject came to troll the post too, had a lot of replies but no dev response.
And my fighters in TR process, so he cant get it yet either.
huh. i didn't remember it requiring weapon focus. that's gonna put it out of reach for an even larger group of people than i thought.
I'm assuming they don't want barbarians to use it. Must be another one of those "balancing" things.
If you're having fun, then you're doing it right.
You can still take Overwhelming Critical if you multiclass to an 18 barb / 2 fighter. That leaves you with 2 free feats:
1.) Toughness / Past Life: Berserker's Fury feat for access to Toughness enhancements.
and
2.) Stunning Blow... or some other optional feat like Completionist, Improved Sunder, etc.
The problem with this is that it's going to be one of the only... if not THE only... viable build(s) for a barbarian to take. Your other option is to go pure 20 barb and dump both Toughness feats AND Stunning Blow, which leaves you with a very 1-trick-pony barb and significantly lower HP.
Khyber: Iqus Tres (Half-Orc Barbarian 20 / Epic 5 / Legendary Dreadnought 5), Ixupi (Drow Sorcerer 20), Outlake (Warforged 7 Monk-in-progress), Petroglyph (Warforged Artificer 16)
I should probably mention the other classes too:
Fighters can take OC, no problem. Even most multiclass fighter builds. 'Nough said.
Favored Souls, Monks, Paladins, Rangers, and Rogues should be able to take OC. But like barbarians, they will most likely have to give up their Toughness feats for it and/or devote points into STR to hit the 23 base.
I think it's especially hard for FvS since they abolutely NEED to devote feats to healing and metamagic, but that's probably fair given how powerful they already are.
Artificers, Bards, and Druids are going to have a very hard time fitting OC in because they are generalist support classes. They usually build to cover a wide range of roles and that requires several feats to pull off. I can't imagine any of the caster or multiclass caster builds wanting to take this feat, but I doubt they can fit it in.
The multiclass builds are pretty much screwed over and won't be able to fit this feat in. You really need to build the character around the feat in order to take it, which sucks.
