    Default Celerity enhancement

Call me crazy, but before the servers went down, I was browsing 'unavailable' enhancements and saw a level 13 (or 14?) enhancement that gave 50% doublestrike for 15 seconds. I had a few questions for anyone who's had a chance to test it.

    - Does it have a cooldown?
    - Does it have a SP cost?
    - Is it a X per rest ability?
    - Does it use an action boost?
    - Does it have an activation time?

I'm 'trying' to make a melee druid, but without twf or thf feats, it's been a tough sell. Hopefully this enhancement doesn't have the drawbacks I suspect it does...

I don't know the celerity answer definitively but I would expect it uses action boost or something that limits usage.

    Regarding your melee druid desires:

I am not sure how you are going about testing, but I found the Druid melee ability quite satisfying. How are you doing melee? Quarterstaff, bear, wolf, other? Are you using the flame weapon or something else. Are you expecting to DPS exceptionally well or tank well and dps okay? What are your expectations? Also, why can't you use TWF feats, to my knowledge they work?

    General suggestions that might help:

    * Don't pigeon-hole the class to one role - I've never played any class in ddo that can do solid melee damage, nuke, dot, and heal themselves or others, cures, buffs, pets. etc.. You simply do not have to be the best damage dealer, you bring a lot to the table.
    * Play around with the enhancements, the reaver (reaving can't remember the exact name) one is quite excellent. If you are a tactical player, you can use it to your advantage.
    * Don't try to apply min-max you used from other classes.

Druid *seems* to appeal best to those that want a versatile character. I was able to do elite dungeons solo for many early levels, until the traps became impossible to mitigate. Later I could duo them with a ranger/rogue still without hirelings. Eventually I had to fall back to hard when the spell damage got to be too much, but it is fun to not have to depend on a brain dead hireling for heals. Given my equipment was limited to what I found questing, I thought it was pretty good.

I hope the developers seek balance in the classes. I don't expect the druid to be the best at everything, I think the decisions are good and its just a matter of some tuning to make certain things work excellent. Particularly the pet, beside their awkward behavior, they are not resilient enough to damage. Within 5 minutes of entering a dungeon my pup is dead, even with healing it, it seems forever to be taking massive amounts of damage. It probably needs scaling resists, PRR, and dodge.
