Legendary DreadNaught's Headsman chop which makes ANY axe x4 crit mod is pretty nuts... coupled with Frenzied Berserker up to 20 and it could potentially be max DPS.... although, max dps is pretty worthless now that the game seems to have completely changed... survival/durability of character is more key.

For melee? mmm at the current rate of 1 new barbarian nerf every patch to beta: Anything but a barbarian.

They made the entire game a ton easier, so defense is basicly pointless now. Have you tried the beta? My --zero-- defense, zero toughness glass canon sorc is neigh-invincible in every epic elite quest due to how easy everything is.

DPS will continue to reign supreme, but since theres not a single boss that has enough hp to last over 3 seconds, big AOE kills like favored souls and sorcs have tend to be the most effective by far.

Given similar gear, attention to build, and player skill, a SOR will out-dps a FVS in almost all scenarios except for some rare circumstances (like vs the Abbot).

??? Epic LoB does not go down in 3sec. Given his extremely high elemental and light resistances, it's impractical for blue-bars to wittle him down... Purple Titan with anti-magic shield? etc.
