Two things I'd like to see change... please?

The reason why you are likely slower than everyone else is because you didn't put many points into strength. Then, you proceeded to wear heavy armor and have a load of heavy gear in your inventory causing you to have at least medium encumberance.

Did I get it right?

Wow... um, no.

My two Clerics with the most playtime on them:

18/2 Clonk, Robes, always light encumberance (TR'ed from Plate-wearing pure, so yes, I have something to compare to)
Levelling TR Cleric with one level Fighter, Horc, 17 starting STR, plus Level ups.... also Light encumberance.

Are you comparing yourself to a class with an innate base movement speed boost? Or a class with a sprint boost? Or a class with a wing effect? That would explain it.

No. Not running against someone with a Sprint Boost, or Monks with Fast Movement.

I swear to God, guys. I have a Bard that I also spend a lot of time on, and she keeps up fine- she's the one with the medium encumbrance. I also have a Monk, and a FvS that are in the 16+ range. They all run faster than my Clerics.

I start a quest, I get the same Haste as everyone else. I know it doesn't stack with Striders, but I keep a pair of 30%s on all my characters anyway. All of my characters have UMD, I've tried Exp. Retreat. Ugh.

Really. Maybe I'll have to give this one up, or do as scientific a job as possible on testing. All I have is experience running Clerics since I joined in 2009. I've always found them to be innately slow. It would literally take a dev to come in here and tell me otherwise that Clerics are not the slowest class in the game. And, I'd be shocked because I'm as sure of it as I am that the sky is blue.

20+ STR Human Cleric VS 34+ STR Half Orc Fighter. Both little to no load.

I have 20% Striding and he has 15%, yet he continually keeps up and passes me while we run about in slayers and in dungeons. Can't explain it but we have noticed it, nothing game breaking or anything just funny.
