Only if you like instakilling bearded devils, mephits, elementals, orthons, demons and the like

Will depend (as with all other spells) on your DC's, btw this is a non-standard DC spell, and spell penetration. However a decently built 1st life character will get good utility out of these spells in the vale.

Also, any *fiendish* mobs afaik. For example pretty much any Shavarath mobs in Vale can be banished.
Con is not a dump stat, but reading comprehension is not a dump skill!

I dont have alts, just mules. Find me as Darivian on Thelanis.

Bashishment is absolutely my favorite spell in the Vale.

Or at least it will be until the new instakill pass, after that I don't know

A friend of mine plays a monk, he insists on having these qualities on his weapons/handwraps - it works well for him, he tears through trash like they're not even there.
I'm really making this up as I go along...

Do both. With the exception of Amrath, a large number of different critters can be banished in endgame quests. This includes fiendish creatures, devils, demons, elementals, many aberratuions (hounds, evil eyes, and so on).

I don't use it as often in endgame these days as my wizzy does not have the spell pen or DC to make these work well, but I believe they also cause damage on failure. So they can be helpful.
Antipan, Pandargon, Pandolin, Panifin, Panmorgan, Pangrael, and all other things "pan-ed"...

Great in Vale and elite Chrono, but that got me thinking does it work in Echrono?

DC is influenced by Hit Dice so I doubt you'd have much luck in echrono (though it should work in theory vs trash).

    These spells work on Outsiders

While its DC is effected by the Hit Dice of the Target, it can still be a very effective means of removing these creatures from combat - Just a note, it actually does not kill a creature - If forces them back to their home plane.

I actually dread going to some of these planes for fear of meeting up with many of these creatures I have dismissed/banished

I have Banish'ed Mephits in eADQ1, eChains, and eWizKing; and Fiendish Spiders in eServants on my Cleric. Those, however, have a bit lower hit die than the devils in eChrono. In eChrono, it'll most likely be just a small range mass damage spell.

It's well worth slotting in on a Cleric or Wizard when you're in an area where you will face Banish'able mobs. It's really too situational to take on a FvS or Sorc.

It really shouldn't be affected by any of the instakill changes they are planning for U14. The monsters you banish don't actually die, after all.
Kobold sentient jewel still hate you.

Banishment is one of my favorite spells ever.

    Mephits
    Elementals
    Bearded Devils
    Orthons
    Tieflings
    Fiend-blooded scorpions/trolls/hippos/breakfast cereals
    Devils
    Thraak Hounds

All of them go poof when you hit them with Banishment. And you get to take out lots in one shot.

Depends on the Beholder. Some are Eberron natives, and cannot be banished.

They are good, I've experienced it in action when I did Undermine (Assault on Stormreach chain) and Banished the earth elemental boss.

good spell but the problem is it requires a lot of monster knowledge to be used effectively
