Internet disconnect

Hello everybody!

Today i had massive lag spikes on this new computer i have had about a month, we also just got a new virgin media router a month or two ago as well. Just after my mass attack of lag spikes my internet on my computer started disconnecting then about 30seconds later recconnecting. Now i'm on google chrome and it is perfectly fine... But as soon as i boot up the game and try load it to the log in page it either disconnects from the internet then or shortly afterwards If i'm very lucky i might get to the character page and start to load my toon before it happens. I pressed the button near the minimize button, it has two arrows pointing down on it and i heard that makes it run faster.
Please help i really wanna get back into the game!

This is extremely annoying as i have got back to the game from quitting for a motnh as my last computer sucked ass and couldn't load the game! And i'm not too far away from level 8 and a friend is holding his stone that turns me to level 16 for me and don't wanna keep him waiting too long... Mainly wanna just get back though

Sounds like a router issue, specifically port forwarding.

Beyond that I can't help you, your ISP needs to give you an assist.
