All that really needs to be said
Some people are like Slinkies
They don't really have a purpose
But they still bring a smile to your face
When you push them down the stairs
Thelanis: Yijing (*Completionist* TR 20 Aasimar Scourge Monk Level 20 / Epic Level 10)
Thelanis: Pocket-Monks: Sightblur, Peashoote, Jigglypath, Jedinja.
Invisible Fences, unkillable Target Practice Dummy's, Shared Bank's, Pale Lavender Ioun Stones, the dimensional barrier between Eberron and Shavarath, I've broken them all...
Only way to salvage this raid is to drop the loot based on HP mechanic and give players their loot at the end. Y'know like all other raids.
If, say we run this on Epic Elite how could we prevent Lolth from draining Ana of all her health after she breaks an artifact. It seems that every time after we break an artifact she takes all sorts of damage from Lolth eye beams and all the monsters that spawn around her, this acts very counter-intuitive to to the "Extra" chest objective with having her health as high as we can.
Even though there is option for her to not attack enemies, it still hard herding her past/out of hostile encounters. The end fight with Lolth is the worst for keeping Ana at full health if even alive due to how choked the path is to the portal. I would Love it if there was more paths to the end portal so we could have one group act as a decoy and pull stuff away from the barrier while a second group can sneak Ana to safty rather then have Ana get blasted, stepped, smacked off by Lolth.
As much fun it is to fail, I don't want to spend 2-3 hours of hard work in keeping Ana alive and well only to watch the party wipe on a small island FILLED with spellwards. I rather run Coyle 6 times on Eilte as a 6th level Rogue and keep failing at the 1 min mark then run this raid for 1 lousy chest that I could get from any FR quest.

Please forgive me for not having experience in the raid...
It would seem that the challenge is manipulating the VIP, and getting her escorted safely. Would it be possible to introduce a hireling-style hotbar for her that allows better control over where she goes, what she does, and what objects you'd have her break?
I am just trying to imagine talking to her, and wading through dialog to get her to operate, and what I'm imagining is a terrible nightmare. It wouldn't be half as bad if a player or two had a hotbar that was specific to leading the NPC through to the objective.
That was my impression and recommendation from closed beta ... haven't run the new version.
A *lot* of objections go away if you give players at least the illusion of control.
Maybe people will sort out her AI patterns eventually, and people won't care anymore, but that's my take on it.
