The nvlddmkm would be BEHIND DDO, so you'd likely never see it.

Check your system logs to see what error is popping up and/or what's causing it.

DDO does not need to be run in compatibility mode and will additonally prevent Dx10/11 from being available- did you also incorrectly tick the option to run as administrator?

IE webpages crash occasionally...stating plainly that IE has stopped working
The fact this issue has followed you over from Vista to this fresh install of Windows 7 and other programs close themselves suggests hardware and maybe some incompatibilities.

Your DxDiag shows you using Logitech USB headset yet the on-board audio also being shown - do you use both?

I would primarily see if the issue continues by disconnecting the Logitech USB headset and using speakers only for diagnostic reasons. Is it also attached via your monitor's USB port?

    Is your BIOS version 1.0.13?

I would use Data LifeGuard Diagnostics from Western Digital to check your hard drive:
    http://support.wdc.com/product/downl...upid=606&sid=3

Lastly you haven't patched Windows so I would either run Windows update or apply service pack 1 manually:

    (windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe)

When I changed DNDclient etc to windows xp compatibility mode I did also click it to run as administrator. I went back through again...turned off run as administrator for all files I had it turned on for and unchecked the run in compatibility mode box for all those files again. Gonna run DDO for a bit and wait for the DND client error to happen again (but praying it wont)

audio-normally I have creative x-fi running..I did not have its drivers installed after swapping to windows 7...I use my logitech headset plugged into the front of my tower I can unplug and run with speakers only to test things...i have in the past run with just speakers..due to breaking my headsets...dont remember that having any effect on the client crashes but I will try it out again.

BIOS version is 1.0.13 dated 5/5/2009

I am going to do the hard drive test right after I post this

The windows 7 SP 1 actually loaded yesterday from windows update

After thinking on this I went to the Device Manager under Sound and there was 5 listed under it. First was Creative SB X-FI, then High Definition Audio Device 4 times listed. I dont have anything plugged into these. So I clicked each one and disable them. Not sure if that can have any importance but it was at least something to try.

I also ran a new DXDiag and posted it in place of the old one in the beginning of this thread...it shows the addition of SP1, Creative X-FI and the subtraction of the Logitech Headset altogether.

Removed Compatability mode xp and unchecked run as administrator, disconnected logitech headset altogether, option to run in DirectX10 popped up-tried it for a bit but gameplay was so choppy changed and currently running in DirectX9. Graphics set on Low setting. Disabled all audio except my Creative X-FI, ran Hard drive quick scan all tested good (the full scan was goin to take like 2 hours so can run at a later time) So far only been doin scroll runs in EChrono (without issue) will try out in more troublesome quests like Ritual Sacrifice and Let Sleeping Dust Lie. Will update soon Im sure...ty again everyone.

Update....Ran Lords of Dust with 1 DnDclient error
Ran ToD with 5 DnDclient errors

After all these adjustments to no avail...Still have power supply that could be an issue...but most likely I can rest assured that my PC is crapola and until I replace it I am cursed with these crashes.

Aside from the power supply the other thing it could be is faulting memory - is Internet explorer still crashing?

6Gb is an odd configuration so I assume you installed 2gb yourself after purchase? was this 2 sticks of 1gb or 1x2Gb and are they all modules installed the same matching speed of DDR2 PC2-6400 ?

To eliminate RAM I would drop down to the 'original' 2x2Gb and Run:
    http://www.memtest.org/
    A few times.

    Then see how DDO behaves.

Just to check - what applications did you re-install since the rebuild to Windows7 that you previously had under Vista?

The computer actually came with the 6G of RAM. There is 2- 2G and 2-1G sticks. Yes internet explorer is still crashing too. Hmm as for applications installed Ventrilo, Java, Adobe Flashplayer, Microsoft.NET1.1, MIcrosoft.NET4, OpenAL, Microsoftvisual C++Redistibutable package. Are the main ones I can think or see in my Control panel.

Within the last week or so interestingly...the Harbor has become a place of complete unstability. I was prone to crashes in quests but now I get DnDCLient errors like every few minutes in the harbor ...its horrible and Ive been trying to stay away from it like the plague.

I would still run a few memory tests against your 6Gb to ensure all sticks are ok.

My last recommendation in troubleshooting would be to remove the creative card (as you said that is what you use normally) and purely use the on-board sound (re-enabling it in device manager) ; deleting your C:\Users\Rob\Documents\Dungeons and Dragons Online\UserPreferences.ini to ensure it gets created from scratch next time you launch the game and select detect optimal settings for graphics and make no other changes.
