High AC Stalwart defender build

I am jealous and envious of all my guild members surviving high level quests and I am always the one either being raised or have soul stone ran alllllllllllll the way back to the shrine. I am looking for ways to build high ac fighter. I want to be the guy having cyber sex at the end of the night with the lady in distress. and maybe solo a raid when no one is looking. Could anybody point me in right way i should go thank you bye bye.

might want to wait til the new mod comes out...the entire combat and ac thing is gonna be re-written...and no one knows how it will end up.

This build has served me very well. But like MrWizard above, I would advise waiting for the expansion and the defensive pass to make any build decisions.

MrWizard, I am a secret fan or yours and I had your Cannon Fodder build bookmarked for some time but I didn't want to try it until I at least acquired 32pt Build. Thank you so much for your post, sir.

I have 2 builds. One is strikingly similar to MrWizard's build. The difference is that he is a Drow Stalwart Defender 18/2 monk in dualist leathers, swashbuck shield and khop (started out as a kensai build and got bored).

He's a specialty build - a Drow 'tank'? Very fun to run with.

Recently tanked the marilith in bastions (norm run). Hardly ever got hit. Buffed AC was 86 or 88 at the time. Knocked down once early on. Took a bit of time: TWF tanking isn't all that great in the DPS department.

I have another build - currently second life human SD THF using SirGog's Iron Defender as a starting point. Will TR to third immediately upon capping.

Both builds have similar Iron Defender feats. Neither have good epic gear (other than event gear) yet.

I've been on Lamannia with my 18/2 build - had a 22 MDB. Can't remember off hand what my AC was. My dex mod is only +10 currently. I doubt very much that I'll ever get a +22 dex mod. But with ED's I can see getting it to +16 with my current armor.

You might wanna wait till the xpack to build an AC build.... When the xpack comes out, you'll see what I mean.
