    Default Dual-monitor Setup

I just got a new laptop today which has a 15.6-inch screen, and I also have a 32-inch monitor I want to play DDO on.

So, I hooked up the monitor to the laptop and split the screens. (I have windows 7 if that helps). But when I play DDO, I want to be able to play DDO at a high-screen resolution, while still being able to browse google crome on my laptop monitor.

However, when I try to re-size windowed-mode on my external monitor, the display defaults back to my laptop's monitor.

How can I make it so I can re-size the DDO game past the resolution of my laptop, without it going back to my laptop's monitor?

Did you specifically set the resolution to the monitor through the Display options? I play on two screens with two different resolutions in windowed mode.

Might not be a good idea to have DDO and a browser open.... if you play on mouselook, you might end up moving endlessly to one side, due to the fact that DDO is windowed and the mouse went off the game, thus screwing up the process...

I simply have my ipad next to me. Of course, not everyone has a tablet, but I would reccomend you dont have a browser open all the time, it could seriously affect your game lagg.... Or not. Hopefully not, but when I tried it, DDO lagged like hell.

I don't find that it affects my lag at all but you're absolutely right about having to control the mouse in mouselook mode as I had several times in the beginning that I got squashed because the mouse moved to the browser window when I moved it too quickly. Having said that, getting squashed a couple time will teach you to control your mouse very quickly.
