Uploading signature image

Recently thought it would be nice to make a forum signature including my main character avatar...created ready to upload but img tags not working in sig editing area. checked to see if they were disabled and were but what i don't understand is that i have seen other forum accounts with sig images, is their an account option for this?
Any help appreciated.
(i think this is the correct area for this correct me if im wrong)

Turbine has decided that we can't and will not be able to make our own sigs....... lame huh

I guess it has to do with them having to check every signature pic and make sure its not a link to some malicious website or something..... who knows...

well you can always just place a link to that pic at the bottom of each post.

what is sad about all of this is.......... since Artificer came out ..... they can't even seem to get Arti Icons updated properly in myddo

not to mention their own sig's not showing properly on the forum
