looking for help, 18 AA ranger with rogue splash

I love rogues and rogues splash.

I have a level 20 pure FVS and a level 19 Spellsinger bard. I need a rogue splash character.

I am thinking 1 or 2 levels or rogue and the rest Ranger AA just because I have never played an AA before and would like to try it.

I have an old messed up 2 rogue/6 ranger I made years ago and completely messed up. So I never played it, but I just won a +1 heart of wood in the lotto so I can maybe fix it. I just need some help in fixing it. This character is human.

This is a premium account with no extra races and no extra classes (ie no monk, no WF, no helfs or horcs). Please give me some suggestions to save this toons life.

Unless I am missing something those are all tempest build and the OP is looking for an AA build. Might be easy enough to modify, not sure yet.

Pretty easy fix: swap the Tempest pre-reqs - D/M/SA/OTWF - for the AA pre-reqs (PBS, WF:R,MT) plus IC:Ranged.

That said, a non-monkcher AA is gonna lag behind what a monkcher AA can put out in terms of sustained ranged DPS. Also, even without the P2P races or classes, once you're willing to sacrifice the rgr capstone, I would also consider a more heavily multiclassed elf AA - e.g., rogue 7 / rgr 11 / ftr 2 - rather than a non-elf rgr 18 / rogue 2 split. [Though that does the OP little good, since he wants to salvage a human rogue / rgr char.]
