    Question 800+ HP unbuffed

I just got my Ranger/Rogue to lvl 18, and I have about 350 hp unbuffed, but I see lots of people running around with 800hp. How is that possible?

I could have got around 45 more hp from GS, 40 from superior false life, 20 from +2 con tome. That totals to about 450hp.
How the hell do people get to 800hp?

High hps on a ranger/rogue build tend to be in the 500s-600s. I don't think I've seen an 800+. Unless one is making a hp build (lots of toughness feats), it shouldn't get that high without a class-splash that gives hp-gaining stances (6 fighter).

To get a high hp ranger build, also add:

    1) +3 exceptional CON (TOD rings or other sources)
    2) 5-piece epic abashi set (the other benefits of these items are worth it)
    3) +7 con item (epic cloak from eChrono is a good choice)

Stalwart Defender stance/Defender of Syberis stance/Barbarian Rage.

So yeah, not terribly achievable on a Ranger/Rogue. Your target should be in the 500s once geared.

Generally speaking, most 800+ HP players are buffed. Several class abilities help them achieve that level of HP.

Such as the Defender of Siberys and Stalwart Defender Stances - Which can add up to 20% of their base+buff HP

Barbarian under the effect of Barbarian Rage(s)

Madstone Rage and also Double Madstone Rage

+6 Constitution Item and +3 Exception Constitution

Toughness Gear Item - Such as the Minos Legends from Necropolis

    Green Steel HP Item

    Alchemical enhancements

    +2 and Greater Tomes

    Multiple Toughness Feats

    Toughness Racial and Class Enhancements

This, once you break the 500hp mark you'll be fine for raids.
On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero

If you have seen 800+ on a ranger--it might have been based on temporary buffs.

My ranger has about 500 hps normally. But can get in the 700s buffed.

    +20 ship buff (con)
    +20 store pot (con)
    +40 yugo pot (con)
    +80 2x madstone rage
    +20 rage spell

    = +180

Add more for house D pots, arty buffs, etc. for super-high temporary hps.

Well, for giggles, let's see how high a character could get at lv 18 without dumping levelups into constitution or redundant toughness feats (many fighters do take redundant toughness feats though).

    Con:
    20 starting (Warforged)
    2 enhancements
    6 item
    3 exceptional
    1 profane
    2 yugo pot
    2 ship shrine
    6 SD stance
    4 tome
    46 total

    20 starting
    180 fighter levels
    324 constitution
    20 toughness feat
    40 class toughness enhancements
    40 racial toughness enhancements
    20 toughness item
    40 superior false life
    20 yugo pot
    30 barbarian past lives
    45 green steel hp
    10 argo favor
    +20% SD stance
    958 hp total

Most people won't have all these bonuses at level 18 (or any level), but they may take extra toughness feats at 24 hp a pop (at lv 18). I suppose you could even add completionist in there for another 22 hp. Don't take it to heart, a good non-tanking DPS should be running 450-650 hp at cap, but tanks need more (and can achieve more) for their particular role in the party.

The person I saw was at 804 at lvl20 Pal, and no TR. But he did have buffs too.
Apart from that, can you reach 500+ without any buffs/pots on 12Rng/7Rog/1Ftr with starting con of 14?

Pretty close on that split, with readily attainable gear.

    14 Base Con + 6 Item + 2 Tome + 3 exceptional + 1 enhancement (assuming human/half elf/+Con Races, if another race just subtract) = 26

    96 Ranger 12
    42 Rogue 7
    10 Fighter 1
    20 Heroic Durability
    22 Toughness
30 Toughness Enhancements (more depending on race)
    160 Constitution
    45 Shroud
    30 Greater False Life
    20 Toughness Item
    10 Draconic Vitality

    485 Unbuffed

Lots of room to improve there, both in terms of rarer gear (+7 Con items, +3 tomes) and buffs (ship buffs, Rage, Madstone, etc).
