Matt Walsh:
But Truth is eternal, so it can never be old or new. It never ‘was’ or ‘will be.’ It just ‘is.’ It always ‘is.’
Have you looked carefully at the text of the reply you are trying to send?
Are there any "unusual" characters or words in the text, especially anything enclosed in "/" or following "/"?
I saw a description in another forum (powered by the same forum engine) where the simple text
/ID
(thats slash-ID-space)
caused the error! In that case the best guess was that some unusual text structure happened to match the internal security configuration of that forum and was being blocked "as a security measure"
I will go over my message and try to find something like that. Would it be in the body of the text, the subject line or the people I am sending it to?

I honestly don't know. I'd read in that same thread some discussion that some special characters also might cause it.,
Have you successfully sent PMs before from your current user name? That would rule out the "From".
Also, if you think its in the body of the text and you can't find it, you can always create the reply in a text file and -attach- it and see if that works (see the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS button way down at the bottom of the reply window.)
Just look and see if there's anything odd or unusual. Sometimes a string of text that looks normal to us might contain characters that a configuration file thinks are risky.
I have sent PMs before succesfully from this name.
Here is what I found when I went through the body of text: One line had an either or sort of thing using a / to separate the words, I reworded the sentence with out the slash and it went through... well kinda... now I have learned that PMs have a 5000 word limit lol.
I just posted it as a thread and sent a PM asking them to take a look at it with a link instead. Thanks for your suggestion it got me what I needed.

A few things are internally (forum software or web servers) not accepted. They're usually thing that are used in "scripts", or can be used for malicious purposes. The /ID thing mentioned is an example.
These particular forums do not allow the true name of the 'w get' web download/mirroring program, even if it's in the middle of another word. You'll get either a Method Not Implemented error, or an Internal Server Error. I'm sure there are more terms that are rejected too, but I don't know any off the top of my head.
