Tumble & key mapping

I just noticed that I'm unable to tumble sideways on any of my characters. Forward and backward still works fine. My best bet is that I unintentionally changed it when changing some of my key mapping and UI settings yesterday, but I'm afraid I don't know exactly which change caused this and how to change it back. Do anybody know how to get tumble functioning again?

Go into mouse look by pressing "T"
Unless you changed your mouse look button. That should enable you to tumble sideways

Press "T" again to turn it off. Very handy though

The reason tumbling doesn't work sideways without mouselook is that by default A and D are keymapped as Turn/Steer buttons. Meaning that without mouselook you turn your character and in it you steer them sideways. And it's sort of hard to turn and tumble at the same time :-P

You can change A/D to always function as steer, along with may other choices, from the keymapping menu of the options panel.

BTW by default you can also turn on mouselook by holding down the right mouse button. That's what I always use


PS. Not sure about the steer term, but can't confirm that myself right now...
