Is a Arti splash worth it on a sorc?

im currently in the process of building a sorc was thinking of just going pure sorc. But i got to thinking would a arti splash be beneficial, either one or two levels. The second level would only be for runearm use, the first level for skills, with 16 base int and a 2 tome, i would be able to keep search, umd at max rank, and disable device 4 ranks behind and 4/5infusions. What im asking is, is it worth it for loosing the sorc capstone and those 1/2 level 9 spells.Just looking for some advice from the more knowledgeable of you, thanks for your time.

The DCs and overall damage of the runearms would be complete rubbish in that scenario, especially since Artificer levels improve both.

You might as well go with a Rogue splash if you're trying to shoehorn trap skills and UMD onto your Sorc. Even then, it's probably better to go with your first instinct. Stay pure.

i completly forgot about runearms needing arti levels to be effective, thats why i asked other people knew it sounded too good to be true, i think i will stick to going pure then with helf for either pally dill or fvs dill, for raise scrolls. thanks
