Just wondering. If a cleric can use healing spells to damage the undead, how come a monk can't use the Healing Ki finisher to do the same?
Thanks!

Dev discretion? Programmer laziness?
According to the wiki, "Healing Ki does not damage undead enemy creatures, but it does injure summoned undead creatures in your party." This makes me suspect it's a targeting thing. It's coded like other cure magic in that it hurts undead, but the targeting is set to all allies.
My guess: The devs figured it was reasonably balanced already, so they didn't need to spend additional hours fixing it to make it stronger.
Thanks for the info! I just wish that it would cure / harm within a certain radius out from the monk.
Yeah, I know what you mean. It's one of those "Huh?" moments to discover that the ability is so much like Mass Cure spells-- but then in a couple respects it's completely different, and for no apparent reason.
Not to be a troll or anything, but if you tried it with a necromancer, it'll hurt his pet
So, technically yes, you can hurt the undead with healing Ki. Just not the enemy. xD
A rogue is basically, "Look at me or die."
