Hey you from Canada did you guys celebrate your memorial day last week? I know you did, lol. This has nothing to do with honoring war, It honors those that fell. Your opinion of who serves in the army can you please post what unit you where in so we can let them know they are all most likely Ex Cons or school yard bullies, ah and since you were with them are you an Ex Con or School Yard Bully?

Yes, you are not forced to be a soldier. If you don not want to do it, cancel the job.

And you are sadly mistaken that no one cares about American vets. You may not honor your fallen, but we do.

You can't cancel being a soldier on a whim, as you well know. You are just being obstinate now, just admit that soldiers follow orders and that those who GIVE the orders are responsible. Why are you so against that?

SAD is it not. All this because someone said thank you to those that have fallen while serving their country wherever that country maybe located.

I'm sorry but plenty of people die doing their job due to mishaps...like window washers cart line snaps, bus driver gets hit by semi running a red light, construction worker gets zapped by a supposed "dead" wire I don't see them getting honored.

Like I said I honor the people who were FORCED to join the military...nowadays its just another job.

Service personel always have a duty to not follow anything that could be considered to be illegal or immoral orders, but they better be damb sure they are in the right before doing so, if not the results would not be pretty.

Even if they are in the right, the results are not often pretty.

    BTW.

I support the troops. In fact I support them so much, I want them all to come home now.

This will be my last post in this thread.

    Later folks.

It did not have to. Some folks are so full of anger they cannot help themselves.

Anger that is directed in the wrong direction. People should be angry at the politicians that start the wars.

If you want to say thank you to american troops go find appropriate sites.

I mean, you applied for that job, so anything you do at the job, even if told to do it, is YOUR fault and you must be held accountable for it.

Seriously, I know you don't think that way, nobody in their right mind does....
I aint blaming them, they decided to join to army, their choice,no reason to thank them,if they were defending your home country then thank them, not for invading other countries.
I would give him the money, cant put price on life.

LOL. Go ask a Iraq and Afghan war vet who has been on 4 or 5 tours of duty if what he does is "just another job". You are wrong. "Just another job" does not involve an average life expectancy of 7 seconds or getting shot at on a daily basis.

Yes I followed most of them. (But my orders had nothing to do with a war.) The consequences of not following depended on the orders. You could got jail in the worst case. But sometimes this can be better than following the orders.
