    Default Thelanis haiku contest

    Win a large devil scale.

    Each week leading up to the next update, I will provide a haiku topic. Please respond to this post with your entry. Entries should generally fit the 5-7-5 syllable pattern. The "best" one each week will receive a large devil scale (must be on Thelanis to qualify).

    Winners will be chosen by me based on subjective "bestestness" - weighing creativity, originality, artistry, form, and humor. I will also weigh community feedback.

    Week 1 - entries must be made on or before midnight EST on Friday, June 1. Winner will be declared Saturday, June 2.

    Topic (week 1): polar ray (the spell)

    Winner: SaneDitto (the original winner wasn't on Thelanis)

    A level 8 slot
    45 cost maximized
    Instant ice sculptures

    Bacab (winner, but wrong server)

    I want a strong ray
    But the barbarian rolled...
