After logging into my main DDO server the character screen loads. First off the character avatars are not showing. The background is black, but the character names appear in the right side display. After selecting a characters name from the list, character images still do not appear. Enter game brings up a loading splash screen "welcome to Eberron, with a loading bar at the bottom. Game stops there. Does not crash, just does not load further. Any advice would be helpful.

Same problem exactly
I am having the same problem as you are. Did you ever figure out how to fix it? I don't know why this is happening as it makes no sense.

I had the same problem, solved by switching to Directx9 from Directx10
