Default Anyone use logitech G500 mouse? Key map issue need help.

Hi all. I'm not sure if this is the right forums for this issue, mod feel free to reassign to other section.

I just recently upgrade my gaming mouse from my beloved Logitech G5 to G500 (why logitech discontinue that awesome mouse I will never understand). But G500 feel almost the same ("almost" is the key word), so I have get it as replacement. And it work fine with all my other games.

But just last week, I log back in to DDO and trying to re key map all my mouse buttons (since now I have 3 more buttons on the mouse), DDO key map system will not recognize any of my side buttons (the back and forward).

Any one else have this same issue? Any fix?

Hi. I'm using g300, so I'm pretty sure you can remap mouse buttons using logitech software to generate any keystrokes.
For example: you can setup your 'next' mouse button to generate 'Alt-0', then customize ddo client to activate a shortcut bar slot on that keystroke.

I try to re key map them with "Alt+1", "Alt+2", "Alt+3". All dod can recognize was "Alt".

Map your mouse buttons to alt-1, alt-2...etc.

In DDO go into your key map, find the binding you want, and PRESS alt-1... Don't press the mouse button. For whatever reason ddo key map only picks up the macro'd alt stroke. Once properly bound the mouse buttons will function correctly though.

Thanks man, it works. It's annoying that DDO won't recognize the mouse button and have to key each manually. But it works after all.
