    Default ranger past life

I'd like a build so i can get my ranger past life but i dont want it to play as a ranger, i want it to be a AC tank high survivability and all that stuff. past life monk 34pt build any race all +2 tomes.

i was thinking 12 ranger/tempest 6 ftr/stalwart 2 monk unarmed but i cant do feats or points on my own.

has to be epic viable since i plan to farm out most of if not all my epic gear this life.

    any help muchley appreciated

AC tank - epic viable don't seem to go together.

Not sure why you would want an unarmed ranger, also the second monk level is a little odd considering rangers get evasion at 9th level. You could go monk 3 and drop down to ranger 11, tempest isn't all that great, and you get all the biggies (GTWF, IPS) at 11. This opens 3 feats assuming you want to replace dodge, mobility, and spring attack.

Essentially, what you probably want is to start with an exploiter build. Exploiters (ranger with monk splash) give you the AC, but typically wield either khopeshes, scimitars or rapiers. Can't help you with the unarmed fighting.

If you are willing to at least remember you are some sort of ranger, don't forget your bow. Manyshot comes at ranger 6, and advances with BAB not ranger level. IPS comes at ranger 11. Assuming you won't be using the bow all that often, this means whenever you pull it out manyshot is available. PEW PEW PEW!!

Also if you decide to use weapons, helf builds tend to make more sense for monk abilities. Consider moving the third splash to rogue to open trap skills and hopefully bring that much more to the party (rangers keep getting nerfed by Turbine, and it looks like the expansion is shutting out tempests).

sorry i ment im not going to be worthless in epics, dont really care about AC there i just want to contribute something instead of just standing there and looking pretty (i do that very well but still)

and the unarmed ranger is just the only thing i could think of thats the reason i came to the forums to get help.
    exploiter i shall look into
