I will probably at least use hirelings on some quests and will occationaly pug but no guildies no guild buffs no twink what so ever. I will include a bit of info on the level. Taking inspiration from others that have gone before me and for my own personal use in the future I have only a few hours a week to really work on this build so may not be fast but I will post new levels as soon as possible.

    Default Level 1

This level was pretty easy even at 1 with nothing special. It has been a while since I have started at 1 so I was a little supprised at that. I smashed all the boxes and barrels in the prequest for the starting cash and pots grabbed a fighter hireling in Korthos and started running the in town quests. Once unlocked I headed out to the explorer area for some easy quick XP to get to level 2.

    Quests
    Heytons Rest - E
    Storehouses Seceret - E
    Cannith Crystal - E
    Collaborator - E

    Korthos Island
    12 Explorer
    50 Kills

    Items of Interest
    Rugged Belt, Axe Bane Bracers

    Default Level 3

Took a rogue level here to hopefully get some traps, doors, and locks as I progress. This level had a few rocky points as I am still trying to maintain the bravery bonus. I grabbed frenzy the barbarian hireling and he had to carry me to the shrine a couple times when I rolled an unlucky 1 on a trap due to forgeting to grab some tools. Aside from that farmed the information is key quest for most of the XP for the next level.

    Quests
    Misery's Peak - E
    Brining the Light - E
    Info Is Key - Ex8, H, N
    Recovering the lost tome - E, H, N

    Items of interest
    Pathfinder's Necklace

I had a couple deaths this level too Butchers path and durks on elite kobald shamens lighting bolt and surrounded by oozes. Attempted to farm a muckbane or 2 actually got muck to pop up all times no luck on a muckbane gave up and moved on. Aside from that not too bad at all still plugging along had some good luck in the auction house and earned some spare plat and worked on crafting levels.

    Missing in action - E
    The sunken sewer - E
    The butchers path - E
    Durks got a secret - E, NNN
    Garrison's missing pack - E
    Haverdasher - E
    Stealthy Reposession - E
    Smugglers warehouse - E
    protect baudry's interests - E
    Stop hazadill's shipment - E
Retrieve the stolen goods - E
    Kobalds new ringleader - EEE

No real items of interest from quests picked up a +3 Full plate, +3 heavy Shield, +5 tools, and a light mace of power III from the AH for 2k plat thats about it.

    Default Level 5

Sorry for the length of time as the title states I am a casual player and I had some RL issues and some internet crash problems. That being said this level I had to drop off my elite streak and start running quests on hard. No problems so far with traps etc have done some shopping on the AH as I got some good drops with collectables and sold for good prices. As of right now I have 56,000 plat and stocked up on some blindness removal, lessor restoration, owls wisdom, foxs cunning, curse removal, disease removal, shield of faith+3, barkskin+3 pots. none of the plat/items are from another toon and I feel pretty sure that by being carefull with drops and pulls one can make good plat in short order to keep up with some items from the AH.

    The captives - EEE
    Friar's Niece - E
the rest of Catacombs - H
Tangleroot up to Deadly pakage - H
    Redfang the unruled - H

Rather than running EEE, have you thought about running EHN? The way the difficulty bonuses work it will probably net similar XP, but as the difficulty reduces your time to complete will drop a lot, so you will get to run a lot more dungeons per hour, so your overall XP/min will increase.

Yes I had but those particular quests I was trying to stick with elite for two reasons 1. if I decided to farm from a not timed perspective running elite till it's not worth it then h and n nets more xp and 2. I was attepting to farm those quests for some items and it has always seemed to me that drop rates are better on elite than on h or n.

hope this helps to understand why I ran them that way although I see your point about running faster and I would agree aswell.

    Default Level 6

Well this level I made the decision to break the hard streak as well and dropped into normal difficulty the time it was taking me to run quests and the difficulty with some of the caster mobs lead me to drop to normal. Once I made that drop it was easy going but before that things were a bit bumpy here and the casters were a bit rough as I stated earlier. I.had a hireling with me in all the quests I ran this level blast the wizard considering that I swapped from my previous plan useing the hire and started trying to get more aggro the plan worked well as they would.group around me and blast would use fireball and acid blast.

I ran the rest of the tangleroot chain on hard
Ran the sharn syndicate chain on hard
    the depths chain on hard
found a group for irestone inlet on elite
Ran the pharlian carnival chain on normal
