Evidence?

1) If you are using a PLIS while adventuring it can save your lolth and is very useful in certain (not all) situations.

2) If a PLIS has saved your lolth you are probably happy that you have it (no matter how when where or why you got it but at that moment...you know the one....when the Beholder is turning and targetting you....you...are....grateful for it and probably wouldn't be coming to the Forums to lolth about how it saved your lolth)

3) OP doesn't have an old enough join date to put themselves into ye olde crusty adventures camp "Back in my day we had to fight Tarrasques up hill both ways to get a PLIS)

So OBVIOUSLY (capitallized for emphasis, funny how that works) it has to be PVP inspired...

A) The person I am trying to kill in the Lobster has one and I'm not feeling the Uber Pwny-ness because of it or...

B) I am having poor luck getting a PLIS and getting my lolth pwned in the Lobster so if I can't have one I don't anyone to have one.

more than 60 Dreaming Dark completions and only 2 PLIS for the trouble... That's hard enough.

Took me 38 runs of Dreaming Dark to get one... in between got little of value... seems worth it to me, when I saw it I was so happy I slapped my momma!
